Seeking ISO 17025 and NELAC certificationApril 10, 2013

The recent opening of RF WasteWater’s state-of-the-art lab in Blacksburg, VA marks the introduction of a new set of services and support to go along with our extensive product offerings. In keeping with our commitment to excellence, we have begun the extensive process of obtaining ISO 17025 and NELAC certifications.

The ISO 17025 (International Standards Organization) certification has two components, which include extensive Management Requirements and Technical Requirements. Management requirements are primarily related to the operation and effectiveness of the quality management system within the laboratory. Technical requirements include factors which determine the correctness and reliability of the tests and calibrations performed.

The NELAC Institute’s (National Environmental Laboratory Accreditation Conference) mission is to foster the generation of environmental data of known and documented quality through an open, inclusive and transparent process that is responsive to the needs of the community.

Receipt of these accreditations will formally recognize our ongoing commitment to providing excellent services to our clients, as well as ensuring that our laboratory is meeting the highest standards possible while continuing our research and development of environmentally sound products for wastewater treatment.
